A list post about what I collect

Hey guys and gals; welcome back to the blog! For my second post I am going to talk a little about what items I collect for the personal collection.

To keep it broad I would say vintage snapbacks and vintage outerwear. While I do collect graphic tees and jerseys; I find the most joy in finding a good snapback or windbreaker for a crazy deal. The Snapback hat will always take priority over any other vintage item I collect.

Snapbacks are extremely important to me for so many reasons. The first reason is as simple as "that's what got me into vintage". Before I started selling vintage, my father gave me some of his old caps from college. I became obsessed with them. The fit and the feel was unmatched to any other hat I had previously owned. The colors popped like crazy.  Another reason why I collect vintage hats; they really are unique. If you walk into a Lids in your local mall right now I bet you can find 10+ of the same team hat. The great part about vintage hats is that they are somewhat "one-of-a-kind". If I wanted to wear a normal hat I would walk into a mall store and buy a modern New Era cap; but nothing will gain as much attention or break necks like a vintage Sports Specialties heather script. There is just nothing like them, and you can almost guarantee that no one else in the room will have one.

The other article of clothing I can not get enough of is a nice piece of outerwear. This time of year in Atlanta is more than perfect for a nice vintage sweatshirt or windbreaker. So many jackets from the 90s have colorblocking that will make you stand out in a crowd.

I love love love graphic tees, as you can probably tell from the website inventory. They pair perfect with a vintage cap of the matching team or color. While companies are trying to revive older graphics on modern blanks, nothing beats the colors and quality of the original tee.

Jerseys hold a very special place in my heart, somewhat like hats. A classic Champion jersey or a Big CCM hockey jersey can tie any outfit together and show your team pride in a huge way. Personally the hockey jersey is my go to when picking any jersey to throw on for an event; despite the seemingly never ending heat in Georgia.

No matter what you may collect or why you collect it, a piece should always hold a special place in your heart no matter what.
